Welcome to West Coast Bracket Races

West Coast Bracket Races was established in 2014 with the intent to build big money platforms for racers on the west coast and, ultimately, across the western United States. There has been a hand full of efforts to bring big money races to the west coast, most notably George Howards’ B&M Racer Appreciation Series and Danny Sons DRR Series in the early 2000’s. Now with the Vegas Fling and Vegas Million setting the bar for not only the opportunity but also experience on the west coast, the desire and need for bracket racing is stronger than ever.

NEW for 2020, is the K&N Desert Classic at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, Az, which is scheduled for March 19-22. This event is slated to bring raised payouts along with 2 64-Car Shootouts that will pay $25,000 to the Super Pro Winner and $15,000 to the Pro Winner.

After 3 very successful years in Tucson with the Southwest Showdown, the opportunity arose to provide our racers with a National Event venue for this platform. “The opportunity to bring a WCBR event to this caliber of facility was never in the back of my mind. But after speaking with Ron (Connor-Track Manager) and some of our racers, we see the value in bringing a new event to the West Coast there in Phoenix”- Forsyth.

Also, new to the 2020 season will be the addition of The Summer Classic at Auto Club Dragway in Fontana May 22-24. This event will take the time slot of our West Coast Classic for 2020 and will be highlighted with a weekend full of racing and a $50,000 Shootout that will feature both Top and Bottom Bulb Racers. We will also include Sportsman, a JR Invitational, and potentially a Motorcycle Invitational that weekend as well.

The Silver State Commercial Refrigeration West Coast Classic will be entering its 6th year at Auto Club Dragway, and will be moved to October 15-18, 2020 to fill the “Big Money Opportunity” void towards the end of the year. As it has since inception, the West Coast Classic will showcase 3 full days of racing and two 64-Car Field Shootouts.

WCBR has been fortunate enough to partner with over 35 companies/manufacturers to help enhance the experience for these events and our racers. With the support of these sponsors, tracks, and all of the attending racers, the potential for growth and expansion is always on the horizon and the vision is to continue to build these events as destinations for years to come.

“For the Racer, by the racer, is the foundation WCBR will continue to push forward on. We understand the time and money constraints that most of the opportunities on this side of the country present and we want to triple that within the same time frame, or even less, with our events. Big money bracket racing has long been needed on the west coast. Peter and Kyle have set and continue to raise the bar for their events and racers, we see the need to support that. The WCBR staff, along with our host venues in Phoenix and Fontana, have every intention of providing the racers with the atmosphere that has long eluded them.”-Chris Forsyth.

We appreciate the support and momentum we have received through the first 5 years and are excited moving into 2020 with the K&N Desert Classic March 19-22, the Summer Classic May 22-24, and the 6th Annual Silver State Commercial Refrigeration West Coast Classic October 15-18.

Promotor Chris Forsyth and West Coast Bracket Races operate out of Laguna Hills, CA.
